Chicago Area Transgender Support Group

Gender Explorers is a adult (over 18 years of age) peer-run support group for transgender / gender variant individuals. We meet inside the Joliet Universalist Unitarian Church 3401 W Jefferson St, Joliet, IL 60431 on the 2nd Thursday of each month from 7 - 8:30PM. No commitment is necessary. Just attend when you can. Facemasks are optional.
Our mission is to provide a safe and confidential space for individuals to share their personal experiences and explore questions of identity, transition, and/or coming out with people on similar paths. We meet in back a the Joliet Universalist Unitarian Church which is a very discrete. Taking the first step to be among others on the same path can be scary but you will find our group to be very warm and welcoming and fun too ! |

Our meeting place is located in Joliet and is near RT 55. The following Chicago area communities are within a 20 mile radius of our support group's location:
